Is StudentOn free to use?

Yes, completely. Posting a requirement, browsing tutor profiles, and contacting tutors is 100% free. There are no hidden charges from StudentOn.

How do I find a tutor?

Use the search or post a requirement describing what subject, mode (home/online), location, and grade you need help with. Tutors will respond to your requirement, or you can browse profiles directly.

How is a tutor verified?

Tutors submit their qualifications during registration. Our team reviews profiles for completeness and accuracy. Verified badges indicate profiles that have passed our checks.

What is a free demo class?

Before committing to ongoing tuition, you can request one free demo session with a tutor. This lets both parties see if it's a good fit before any money changes hands.

How do I pay a tutor?

Payments are made directly between you and the tutor — StudentOn does not handle money. Agree on the fee, mode of payment, and schedule directly with your tutor.

For Tutors

How do I register as a tutor?

Click 'Register as Tutor' in the header or footer. Fill in your subjects, teaching modes, location, qualifications, and set your fees. Registration is free.

How do I get more students?

Keep your profile complete and up to date. Respond quickly to student requirements in your area. Encourage satisfied students to leave reviews. Offering a free demo class significantly increases response rates.

Can I teach online as well as home tuition?

Yes. You can select multiple teaching modes — Home, Online, or Assignment Help — on your profile.

Is my personal address shared publicly?

No. Only your general locality is shown on your profile. Your exact address is never displayed to students.

How do I get paid?

Payment arrangements are made directly with your students. StudentOn does not process or hold tutor payments. Common methods include bank transfer, UPI, or cash.

Account & Technical

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the login page, click 'Forgot Password' and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or email us.

How do I delete my account?

Email contact@studenton.in from your registered email address with the subject 'Delete My Account'. We'll process the deletion within 30 days.

I see incorrect information on a tutor profile. What should I do?

Use the 'Report' option on the tutor's profile, or email us at contact@studenton.in. We take profile accuracy seriously and will investigate promptly.
