StudentOn is a free online marketplace that connects students and parents with home and online tutors.

We facilitate discovery and communication between students and tutors. We are not a party to any tutoring agreement or financial transaction between them.

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any tutor listed on the Platform. Users must exercise their own judgement.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must notify us immediately at contact@studenton.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Tutors must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and availability.

Tutors must not charge students fees outside of what was agreed upfront.

Tutors are responsible for their own tax obligations and must not represent themselves as employees of StudentOn.

Tutors must maintain professional conduct at all times and treat students with respect.

Students and parents must provide accurate information when posting requirements.

Students must treat tutors with respect and communicate honestly about their learning needs.

Posting false or misleading requirements to exploit tutors' free demo class offer is prohibited.

Sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, email) in public profiles to circumvent the platform.

Posting false reviews, impersonating other users, or creating fake accounts.

Using the Platform to advertise competing services, spam users, or conduct commercial solicitation.

Uploading illegal, harmful, or offensive content of any kind.

Scraping, crawling, or otherwise copying Platform data without written permission.

StudentOn is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on tutor profiles.

Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed INR 1,000 (one thousand rupees).

All content on the Platform — including the StudentOn brand, logo, and design — is owned by StudentOn EdTech Private Limited.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

User-generated content (profiles, reviews, messages) remains your property, but you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform.

You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@studenton.in.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice.
