Chandan Kudupu

I work with children and adolescent students through all school grades and boards to support their learning needs, especially in English, reading, spelling, writing and Mathematics. I work with students on emotional resilience, gaining confidence and mastering study skills. Learning support and remediation strategies are child-centred and focused on the individual. I begin by establishing how a child learns, identify struggles, and then support children by building from the skills they already have, gradually moving at a pace they are comfortable with. Seeing children who used to find learning hard to begin feeling confident, eager to participate and recognizing their achievements is the most satisfying part of my job; no matter how small the achievement.
