Annesa Mukherjee

Hello! I’m Annesa Mukherjee, a Biological Sciences graduate with a strong academic background in life sciences and a genuine interest in helping students develop a clear understanding of Science and Biology. I believe that Science becomes much easier when students understand the why behind a concept instead of simply memorising facts. My teaching approach therefore focuses on building concepts step by step, connecting different topics, and encouraging students to think, question, and explain what they have learned in their own words. I teach Science and Biology for school students up to Class 10. I can help students build their fundamentals, understand difficult topics, prepare for school examinations, revise chapters, complete homework, and improve their confidence in the subject. I pay particular attention to topics that students often find difficult by breaking them down into smaller, simpler parts before gradually building towards the complete concept. During my sessions, I like to use clear explanations, diagrams, examples, visual learning, and questions to make lessons more interactive. Rather than expecting students to simply listen, I encourage them to participate, ask questions, and think through problems themselves. I also believe that regular revision and practice are important for retaining concepts and performing well in examinations. Every student has a different pace and learning style. Some students may need additional explanation of the basics, while others may understand a concept quickly but need more practice applying it. I therefore try to understand where a student is currently struggling and adapt the lesson accordingly. My aim is to create a patient, comfortable, and encouraging learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and make mistakes without hesitation. As a Biological Sciences graduate, I have developed strong skills in scientific reasoning, observation, analysis, and understanding biological concepts, which I bring into my teaching. I want students not only to perform better academically, but also to become genuinely curious about the living world around them.
